On Xi Jinping’s Vocational Education Concept in the New Era

党的十八大以来,习近平总书记在不同时间、不同场合对我国职业教育的发展作出一系列创新性论述和批示,逐步形成了具有中国特色的新时代职业教育观。其具体内涵有五个方面:“摆在更加突出位置”的地位观;“立德树人,服务发展,促进就业”的方向观;“高素质劳动者和技术技能人才”的人才观;“每个人都有人生出彩机会”的价值观;“推进职普融通,产教融合,科教融汇,构建现代职业教育体系”的发展观。这些思想观点和重要论断,丰富了中国特色社会主义教育思想的理论内涵,为推动我国职业教育事业快速健康发展提供了理论指导及实践遵循。

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary made a series of innovative expositions and instructions on the development of vocational education in China at different times and on different occasions,which form vocational education concept for a new era with Chinese characteristics.This concept includes fives aspects:(1)the status view of"putting it in a more prominent position",(2)the direction view of"cultivating morality,serving development and promoting employment",(3)the talent view of"high-quality laborers and technically skilled talents",(4)the value view of"everyone has the opportunity to meet the personal success",(5)the development view of"promoting integration of vocational education and general education,of industry and education and of science and education to build a modern vocational education system".Xi Jinping’s ideas and important judgments enrich the theoretical connotation of the socialist educational thought with Chinese characteristics and provide theoretical guidance and practical guidance for promoting the rapid and healthy development of China’s vocational education.
