社会语言学视角下叙事研究的最新趋势是:将叙事视为社会实践,在叙事互动中探索身份的话语建构过程。通过细读文献,我们发现叙事实践是一个开放的、多层次的动态复杂系统,通过会话推理、指向性和语言意识形态的工具性概念连接起来。在该趋势下定位分析成为了主要的分析工具,叙事的社会意义随着心理治疗、组织生活和政治认同领域的变化而发生共变。我们还发现,叙事实践研究能给语言习得、互动语言学和语言相对论研究带来启示,未来的研究应聚焦具体的语言现象,并和聚类分析相结合,以便进一步发现身份建构的模式。

A recent trend in narrative studies from a sociolinguistic perspective is to view narrative as social practice, exploring the discursive process of identity construction through narrative interaction.A close examination of the literature reveals that narrative practice is an open, multilayered, and complex dynamic system, linked through instrumental concepts such as conversational inference,indexicality, and language ideology. In this way positioning analysis has become a major analytical tool and highlights how the social meaning of narratives changes across domains such as psychotherapy, organizational lives, and political identity. Narrative practice research can also shed light on language acquisition, interactional linguistics, and linguistic relativity. It is hoped that in the future higher value will be placed on concrete linguistic phenomena using cluster analysis to identify new patterns of identity construction.
