针灸联合物理疗法治疗外伤性截瘫患者的效果

Effects of acupuncture combined with physical therapy on patients with traumatic paraplegia

目的:观察针灸联合物理疗法治疗外伤性截瘫患者的效果。方法:选取2019年1月至2021年7月该院收治的64例外伤性截瘫患者进行前瞻性研究,按照随机数字表法分为对照组和观察组各32例。两组均给予常规康复训练,在此基础上,对照组采取物理疗法治疗,观察组在对照组基础上联合针灸治疗。比较两组治疗前后功能独立性[功能独立性量表(FIM)]评分、脊髓损伤神经功能[美国脊髓损伤协会(ASIA)标准]评分和日常生活能力[改良Barthel指数(MBI)]评分。结果:治疗后,两组FIM评分、MBI评分和脊髓损伤神经功能评分均高于治疗前,且观察组高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:针灸联合物理疗法治疗外伤性截瘫患者,可提高FIM评分、MBI评分和脊髓损伤神经功能评分,效果优于单纯物理疗法治疗。

Objective:To observe effects of acupuncture combined with physical therapy on patients with traumatic paraplegia.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 64 patients with traumatic paraplegia admitted to the hospital from January 2019 to July 2021.They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,32 cases in each.Both groups were given routine rehabilitation training.On this basis,the control group was treated with physical therapy,while the observation group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of that of the control group.The functional independence[functional independence scale(FIM)]score,the spinal cord injury neurological function[American spinal cord injury association(ASIA)criteria]score,and the activities of daily living[modified Barthel index(MBI)]score were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:After the treatment,the FIM score,the MBI score and the spinal cord injury neurological function score of the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Acupuncture combined with physical therapy can improve the FIM score,the MBI score and the neurological function score of spinal cord injury in the patients with traumatic paraplegia.Moreover,it is superior to single physical therapy.
