Objective To investigate the expression of Survivin and ICAM-3 in cervical cancer tissues and their relationship with radiotherapy sensitivity. Methods 50 patients with cervical cancer were divided into radiotherapy sensitive group(n=28) and radiotherapy resistant group(n=22).Immunohistochemistry was used to analyze Survivin and ICAM-3 levels in patients with cervical cancer, and the relationship between survivin and ICAM-3 levels and clinicopathological features and radiotherapy sensitivity were compared. Results There was no significant difference in FIGO stage between radiotherapy sensitive group and radiotherapy resistant group(P>0.05).The tumor differentiation degree and tumor diameter of radiotherapy resistant group were lower, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive expression rates of Survivin and ICAM-3 in the radiotherapy sensitive group were significantly lower than those in the chemotherapy resistance group(P<0.05).The results of multivariate analysis showed that the degree of differentiation and tumor diameter were not related to the sensitivity of radiotherapy(P>0.05),while the expression levels of Survivin and ICAM-3 were related to the sensitivity of radiotherapy(P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of Survivin, ICAM-3 and clinicopathological features in patients with cervical cancer are related to the sensitivity of radiotherapy, which provides a certain reference for exploring the prognostic indicators of cervical cancer in the future.
