Impact of COVID-19 on the outpatient and emergency services of medical institutions in Tianjin

目的分析新冠病毒肺炎疫情对天津市医疗机构门急诊服务情况的影响。方法使用天津市2019年至2021年医疗机构门急诊服务情况统计数据,应用间断时间序列回归分析方法,分析不同类别医疗机构门急诊人次及结构的变化。结果疫情对综合医院、中医医院、中西医结合医院、专科医院、社区卫生服务中心、卫生院、门诊部、专科疾病防治院、疗养院有显著的即刻影响,门急诊人次大幅减少。疫情对综合医院、中西医结合医院、卫生院、门诊部、专科疾病防治院、疗养院有显著的即刻影响,门急诊人次比例大幅变化。疫情对社区卫生服务中心、专科疾病防治院有显著的长期影响,在疫情后有逐月变化的趋势。结论疫情对除妇幼保健院外的各类型医疗机构门急诊服务情况均产生不同程度的影响,应分类别做好医疗机构门急诊服务应对措施。

Objective To analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the outpatient and emergency services of medical institutions in Tianjin.Methods The statistical data of outpatient and emergency services in medical institutions in Tianjin from 2019 to 2021 were used and the intermittent time series regression analysis was made to explore the changes in the number and structure of outpatient and emergency services in different types of medical institutions.Results The epidemic had a significant and immediate impact on general hospitals,traditional Chinese medicine hospitals,hospitals of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,specialized hospitals,community health service centers,health centers,outpatient departments,specialized disease prevention and treatment centers,and nursing homes,that is,the number of outpatient and emergency visits was greatly reduced.The epidemic had a significant and immediate impact on general hospitals,hospitals of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,health centers,outpatient departments,specialized disease prevention and treatment centers,and nursing homes,that is,the proportion of outpatient and emergency visits changed significantly.The epidemic had a significant long-term impact on community health service centers and specialized disease prevention and control centers,and there was a month-by-month change trend after the epidemic.Conclusions The epidemic has different degrees of impact on the outpatient and emergency services of various types of medical institutions except maternal and child health care hospitals,and the response measures for outpatient and emergency services in medical institutions should be taken according to categories.
