The Social Form of Productive Forces and the Material Basis of the New Formation of Human Civilization

在马克思的语境中,生产力的社会形式是生产力构建自身、发展自身的社会结构和社会关系,包含技术形式和权力形式。它与生产力相互制约,并构成其发展的质的前提。资本主义文明是以生产力的对抗性形式为基础的最后形态。只有扬弃生产力的资本形式、发展生产力的社会主义形式,才能为人类文明新形态提供直接的物质基础。为此,必须发展以联合体为本质特征的社会主义公有制和全过程人民民主,克服资本权力和官僚主义,重塑生产力的技术形式和权力形式。

In Marx’s context,the social form of productive forces is the social structure and social relations in which productive forces constructs and develops itself,including the form of technology and form of power.It restricts each other with productive forces and constitutes a qualitative premise for its development.Capitalist civilization is the final formation based on the antagonistic form.Only by sublating the capital form and developing the socialist form of productive forces can we provide a direct material basis for the new formation of human civilization.To this end,it is necessary to develop socialist public ownership characterized by true community and people’s democracy in the whole process,overcome capital power and bureaucracy,and reshape the technological and power forms of productive forces.
