摘要
研究通过临床拍摄的不同个体胸部数字X光片上,椎体的几何形态特征的测量值,判断成人性别。选取年龄段从18岁至79岁的成年人胸部X光片共62张(男、女各31张),测量第9胸椎椎体6个长度指标,测量结果经统计学分析验证,所有指标均可用于建立判别函数,最终得到一个具有统计学意义的典型判别函数。通过交叉验证,判别函数的性别判定准确率可达82.25%,其正判率临界为62.5%,判别效果满意。从临床拍摄的胸部X光片上所获得的第9胸椎椎体的6个长度指标可以用来判定性别,该方法在法医学实践中具有应用价值。
The objective of this study was to investigate whether sex can be determined from the geometric features of the spine on a clinical digital chest X-ray. Sixty-two chest radiographs(31 males and 31 females) that aged from 18 to 79 years old were selected,and 6 length measurements of the 9th thoracic vertebra were used for sex determination analysis.The basic analysis of statistical data verifies that all the 6 indicators can be used to establish the discriminant equation and finally establish a typical discriminant function with statistical significance.Through cross validation,the accuracy of discriminant function was 82.25%,and its positive judgment rate was 62.5%. The conclusion is that the six measurements of the human 9th thoracic vertebra obtained from clinical chest radiographs can be used to determine gender,which has application value in the practice of forensic medicine.
