摘要
近义词是英语词汇的重要组成部分,近年来近义词辨析一直是国内各阶段教育教学及考试测评的重难点。本研究基于词汇语法理论与语料库的研究方法,选取furnish, accommodate和feed三个近义词为研究对象,从词频分布、语域分布、类联接模式以及搭配差异对其进行多维度的对比分析。研究指出:语料库研究方法的客观性、广泛性及直观性能够为英语教育教学提供强有力的辅助作用。
Synonym is an essential component in English vocabulary. In recent years, synonym discrimination has been a key and difficult point of education and teaching, as well as examination and evaluation at all stages in China. Based on the lexicon-grammar theory and some research methods of Corpus, this study selects three synonyms furnish, accommodate and feed as the research objects and makes a multi-dimensional contrastive analysis from the aspects of word frequency, register, colligation and collocation. The study points out: the objectivity, extensiveness and intuition of the corpus can play a strong subsidiary role for English education and teaching.
