随着世界经济一体化的飞速发展,“材料专业英语”课程的传统教学模式已不再适应培养“具有国际竞争力创新型高素质人才”目标的要求,使其教学改革愈发显示重要性和紧迫性。基于该课程现存问题和课程特点,制定了教学改革策略,将“以教为中心”的传统教学方式转变为“以学为中心”的教学模式,同时改变了考核体系,建立了以能力培养为主的过程性考核,并充分利用网络资源提升教材与学科发展的匹配性,保障了学习内容顺应时代发展的步伐,以期培养出材料领域具有国际竞争力的创新型高素质人才。

With the rapid development of world economic integration,the traditional teaching mode of the Professional English Course in Materials has been inadequate to meet the requirements of cultivating"innovative and high-quality talents with international competitiveness",which makes the teaching reform show more and more important and urgent.Based on its existing problems and course characteristics,the teaching reform strategy is set,and the traditional teaching mode is transformed from"teaching-center"to"learning-center".Meanwhile,the evaluation system is changed,a process assessment based on ability cultivation is established,and network resources are fully utilized to improve the matching between teaching materials and subject development,all of them ensure that the learning content keeps pace with the times,which is beneficial to cultivate innovative and high-quality talents with international competitiveness in the field of materials.
