This paper introduces the origin of the concept of cataloging collections and vocabulary control,and the development and relationship between digital cataloging collections and controlled vocabulary.This paper analyzes the faceted and hierarchical structure of the Cultural Relics Classified Thesaurus,discusses the application of the thesaurus in the digital cataloging of collections,combined with the concept of controlled vocabulary,to promote the construction of high-quality cultural heritage information resources and retrieval and utilization of multi-dimensional information through the normative control and semantic association of thesaurus concept terms.
