园林植物一种新害虫——刺桐雕球链蚧

A new pest of garden plants——Cosmococcus erythrinae Borchsenius

2021年6月中旬至2022年6月,我们陆续在昆明市的山合欢、栾树、杨梅、鸡冠刺桐上发现一种雕球链蚧属昆虫为害,虫口密度很大,严重时会使寄主死亡。经鉴定,该害虫为刺桐雕球链蚧,系园林植物的一种新害虫,也是杨梅、栾树等经济林木上的一种严重虫害。鉴于其寄主在中国广泛分布且其危害十分严重,因此需提高警惕,防止其传入中国其他省份。本研究首先整理了雕球链蚧属的研究概况,其次对新害虫刺桐雕球链蚧的形态、寄主和危害、分布、生物学进行了研究,并绘制了雌成虫形态特征图。此外,该种的防治及该属昆虫的起源和传播在文中进行了讨论。

From the middle of June 2021 to June 2022,we have found a Cosmococcus species on Albizia kalkora(Roxb.)Prain,Koelreuteria paniculata Laxm.,Myrica rubra Siebold et Zuccarini and Erythrina crista-galli L.in Kunming,Yunnan Province.The population density of this pest was so high that even kill the host.The pest species was identified as C.erythrinae,a new pest of garden plants,and a serious pest of economic trees M.rubra and K.paniculata.In view of the extensive distribution of its hosts in China and serious damage of C.erythrinae,it is urgent to be vigilant to prevent its spread to other provinces of China.This study first overviewed the genus Cosmococcus,and then studied the morphology,distribution,host,damage and biology of C.erythrinae.The adult female of C.erythrinae was well illustrated.In addition,the control of C.erythrinae and the origin and spread of the genus Cosmococcus were discussed.
