摘要
作为一部经典的好莱坞电影,《博物馆奇妙夜》穿插着各种令人炫酷的视效特技,其围绕博物馆所绘制的立体图景,使观众恍若能在顷刻间横跨各大洲和上下几千年的世界文明。然而,该片借自然历史博物馆制造了一个“美国至上”品牌的地球仪,通过建构奇观把博物馆自身的意义关闭在人们的视觉美学中,引导观众审美及娱乐地看待所谓“自然层面”的形象,从而遗忘其内部的权力与资本造就的美国文化霸权和欲望的空间内涵。时隔多年后,这一价值观在当代美国的极化境况下暴露了其潜在危机。
As a classic Hollywood film,“Night at the Museum”is interspersed with various cool visual effects,and its three-dimensional pictures drawn around the museum makes the audience feel that they can cross continents and thousands of years of world civilization in an instant.However,Through the Museum of Natural History,the film creates a globe labeled as“America First”,trying to construct spectacles to close the meaning of the museum in people’s visual aesthetics,thus,leading the audience to view the so-called“natural”images aesthetically and entertainingly,and to forget the spatial connotation of American cultural hegemony and desire created by power and capital.After many years,this value has exposed its potential crisis in the polarization of contemporary America.
