低温冲击治疗用于埋伏阻生智齿拔除术后镇痛消肿的疗效评价

Effect of Thermal Shock Therapy on Pain and Edema after Extraction of Impacted Wisdom Tooth

目的观察低温冲击治疗(TST)对埋伏阻生智齿外科拔除患者术后镇痛和消肿的治疗效果。方法选取2019年8月至2021年5月新疆维吾尔自治区人民医院口腔科收治的需要进行智齿拔除的140例中低位埋伏阻生第三磨牙患者,采用随机数字表法分为观察组(n=70)和对照组(n=70)。观察组在术后采用TST治疗,对照组采用传统冰袋冷敷,比较2组术后疼痛[采用视觉模拟评分法(VAS)评分]及肿胀程度。结果术后第1、2、3、4 d观察组VAS评分均显著低于对照组(P<0.001);术后第5、6、7 d,2组VAS评分比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);观察组术后第2 d及第5 d面部肿胀程度明显低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论与传统冰袋冷敷相比,TST可更有效地缓解阻生智齿拔除患者的术后疼痛及肿胀。

Objective To observe the efficacy of thermal shock therapy(TST)in relieving paining and swelling after extraction of impacted wisdom tooth.Methods A total of 140 patients admitted to the department of stomatology of the People’s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from August 2019 to May 2021 for removal of impacted third molars were randomly assigned to received either TST(observation group,n=70)or conventional ice compression(control group,n=70)after surgery.Postoperative pain(measured with visual analogue scale)and swelling were compared between the two groups.Results The VAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group at 1,2,3 and 4 days after operation(P<0.001).No significant difference in the VAS score was found between the two groups at 5,6 and 7 days after operation(P>0.05).The degree of facial swelling in the observation group was lower than that in the control group at 2 and 5 days after operation(P<0.05).Conclusion TST is superior to conventional ice compression for relieving pain and swelling after extraction of impacted wisdom tooth.
