The working efficiency of the power amplifier of all solid state PDM medium wave transmitter is as high as 75%~83%, and the efficiency of the whole transmitter is as high as more than 65%. Therefore, this type of transmitter is widely used in the medium wave broadcast transmission system. Based on this, this paper introduces the composition, structure and working principle of PDM medium wave transmitter in detail, and analyzes the failure of Ji’an 802 sets of PDM medium wave transmitter in the process of operation, providing reference for radio and television practitioners.
