制造业的数字化对其全球价值链地位升级的影响——基于广东制造业细分行业的实证分析

The Impact of Manufacturing Digitalization on Its Global Value Chain Upgrading:An Empirical Study Based on Subsectors of Manufacturing Industry in Guangdong Province

根据广东省2010—2017年16个制造行业的面板数据,分析制造业的数字化对其全球价值链地位升级的影响及作用机制。研究表明,制造业的数字化对提升其全球价值链地位有正向促进作用,且主要通过推动产业结构升级和提高制造业生产率两个渠道实现对其全球价值链地位的升级。行业异质性研究显示,制造业的数字化能显著促进劳动密集型和资本密集型制造业的全球价值链地位升级,但由于核心技术缺失,对技术密集型制造业的促进效果不明显。因此,应持续推进制造业的数字化发展,促进其全球价值链地位提升;加快数字化基础设施建设,夯实制造业的数字化转型基础;劳动密集型、资本密集型、技术密集型等不同类型制造业要因地制宜制定数字化发展措施;完善信贷、财税、数字知识产权和网络信息安全保护、数字化人才培养等相关政策制度,加大企业数字化转型支持力度。

Based on the panel data of 16 manufacturing industries from 2010 to 2017 in Guangdong Province, this paper analyzes the impact and mechanism of manufacturing digitalization on global value chain upgrading. The research finds that manufacturing digitalization can promote the upgrading of global value chain, and influences the upgrading of global value chain by promoting the upgrading of the industrial structure and improving the productivity of the manufacturing industry. The study on heterogeneity of industry finds that the manufacturing digitalization can significantly promote the upgrading of labor and capital-intensive manufacturing industries’ global value chain, but due to the lack of core technologies, the promotion effect on technology-intensive manufacturing is not obvious.Therefore, we should continue to promote the manufacturing digitalization and global value chain. Firstly, accelerate the construction of digital infrastructure and strengthen the foundation for the digital transformation of manufacturing.Secondly, formulate digital development measures for labor, capital and technology-intensive industries with local conditions. Finally, increase support for digital transformation by improving credit, finance and taxation, digital intellectual property, network information security protection, digital talent training and other relevant policies and systems.
