摘要
诺曼·梅勒的非虚构小说《刽子手之歌》以客观超然的笔触,真实记录了美国犹他州死刑犯加里·吉尔摩的人生历程和犯罪受审经过。本文通过分析作品中历史的记忆化书写,透过历史场景、细节脉络和创伤记忆反观个体创伤发生的时代背景和社会环境,揭示流淌在小说情节中的创伤本原,探讨创伤叙事呈现生存之原本状态与创伤之未知面貌的技巧问题,及其引导读者透视自我、整理记忆、反思当下的价值作用。
Norman Mailer’s The Executioner’s Song is an objective nonfiction novel,depicting the life experience,crime commitment and trail process of the killer Gary Gilmore in Utah State of the United States.After an analysis of memorization writing of history in the novel,the paper is supposed to reveal the origins of trauma in the plot,explore the strategies of traumatic narrative in the presentation of original existence and unknown trauma and discuss the value of traumatic narrative in the personal introspection,memories arrangement and reflection of the present from aspects of historical scenes,plot progress and traumatic memories.
