从水死的两种可能性,到水与水鬼的关系,探讨水鬼可害人抓替亦可放人成神的善恶属性。而水的正反象征,对水的敬与畏,影响了对水鬼善恶的想象。水鬼始终存在的善恶两类型,一方面反映了文化(理)与自然(欲)的对立,也暗示了人与异类的隔阂。

From the two possibilities of water death, to the relationship between water and water ghosts, this paper discusses the good and evil attributes of water ghosts, who are not only able to harm, capture and replace humans but also able to make them become gods.However, the positive and negative symbols of water and the respect for and fear of water have affected the imagination of good and evil of water ghosts.There are always good water ghosts and evil water ghosts, reflecting the opposition between culture(reason) and nature(desire) and implying the gap between human beings and other species.
