摘要
怀特海的教育思想与其过程哲学思想是一体的。他明确提出了教育的目的在于培养人“活跃的智慧”。围绕这一教育目的论主题,怀特海关于教育何以培养人的“活跃的智慧”的一系列论述都深刻体现了他的过程哲学精髓。教育的过程性以人的生命发展的有机联系性、节奏性和创造性奠基,以实现人的“活跃的智慧”的全面发展为价值目标。怀特海的智慧教育思想对于克服专业化教育的片面性、更好地促进儿童的全面发展具有重要的思想性指导意义。
Whitehead’s thought of education is integrated with his thought of process philosophy. He explicitly stated that the purpose of education was to develop a man’s “active wisdom”. The essence of Whitehead’s process philosophy is deeply reflected in a series of treatises on how education can cultivate human’s “active wisdom”centering on the theme of education teleology. The process of education is based on the organic connection,rhythm and creativity of human life development, and its value goal is to realize the all-round development of human active wisdom. Whitehead’s thought of wisdom education is of great ideological significance for contemporary people to overcome the one-sidedness of specialized education and to better promote the overall development of children.
