Analysis on Classification Standards for Burning Behaviour of Electric Wires and Cables

总结了电线电缆燃烧性能的分级方法。基于标准化文件起草原则,对比分析了各分级标准在燃烧性能及相关概念的定义、燃烧特性要素的选择、分级标识的应用等方面的差异。结果表明燃烧性能的定义在不同时期的变化以及燃烧特性的定义不明确,是导致各分级标准在实践中被误解误用的主要原因。结论可为修订分级标准提供参考。

This paper summarized the classification method of wire and cable burning behaviour.Based on the principles of drafting standardized documents, it compared and analyzed the differences among each classification standard in the definition of burning behaviour and related concepts, the selection of burning characteristics parameters, and the application of classification identifications.The results show that the change in the definition of burning behaviour in different periods and the ambiguity of the definition of burning characteristics are the main reasons for the misunderstanding and misuse of the classification standards in practice.It can serve as a reference for revising the classification standards.
