From January to April 2020,the Xi’an Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics Conservation and Archaeology excavated two Han-Dynasty tombs that were situated to the south of Ziqiang East Street in Xi’an City. Both tombs have a bricked chamber and slopy entrance ramp.A total of more than 30 burial goods and more than 180 coins were found.Judging from the structure and shape of the tombs and the unearthed burial goods, both tombs can be dated to the late Eastern Han Dynasty. The discovery of these two tombs provides new evidence to the study of medium-to-small-sized tombs and the spread of Daoist during the late Eastern Han Dynasty in the Xi’an region.
