With the rapid development of economy and the continuous improvement of science and technology,municipal road and bridge construction projects are increasing. Subgrade pavement compaction is the foundation of municipal road and bridge construction, and it plays an important role in the safe operation of roads and bridges.If insufficient compaction occurs, it will greatly increase the probability of traffic accidents and endanger the lives and property safety of road and bridge users. Based on the research on the compaction technology of subgrade and pavement of municipal roads and bridges, this paper analyzes the construction essentials of subgrade and pavement compaction of municipal roads and bridges, in order to effectively guarantee the quality of road and bridge projects.
