《大众文艺丛刊》是中华人民共和国成立前由左翼文人在香港地区筹备的报刊。此刊通过作家编辑者身份、刊物编辑形式确立刊物的共产党党性,以中国化的马克思主义文艺观为批评标准,在主题内容上移植延安文艺,延续延安时期文艺创作的要求。此刊是毛泽东文艺思想通过延安整风运动在解放区确立以后,进一步在南方国统区和受殖民统治的香港延续的标志,彰显了中国共产党有计划地掌握文化意识形态战场的目的。

The Public Literature Collectionis a journal prepared by left-wing intellectuals in Hong Kong region before the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The journal establishes the spirit of Communist Party of China through the identity of the writers, editors and the form of journal editing. It uses sinicization Marxist view of literature and arts as the critical standard, continues and transplants the requirements or contents of literary and artistic creation during the Yan’an period. The journal has continued and expanded the Yan’an literary and artistic spirit outside the liberated area. It has been a sign of the continuation of Mao Zedong’s literary and artistic thought in the area controlled by Kuomintang in southern region and the colonial Hong Kong after its establishment in liberated areas through Yan’an Rectification Movement. It highlights the purpose of the Chinese Communist Party to grasp the cultural ideological battlefield in a planned way.
