肥胖与代谢性疾病已经成为全球最严峻的公共卫生健康问题之一。治疗方法从改变生活方式到药物治疗,逐渐发展到外科减重手术治疗。减重代谢内镜治疗具有微创、有效、费用低、接受度高、可重复性等优势,可分为胃和小肠内镜治疗两大类。胃的减重代谢内镜治疗以限制摄入为主,达到减重目的,同时也具有改善代谢指标的作用。小肠的减重代谢内镜治疗以减少吸收为主,改善代谢的作用常不依赖于体质量的减轻。因此,小肠将成为未来代谢内镜的主要焦点。

Obesity and metabolic diseases have become one of the most serious global public health problems.The treatment has gradually developed from lifestyle modification to drug treatment to bariatric and surgery.Endoscopic bariatric and metabolic therapies have the advantages of minimally invasiveness,effectiveness,low cost,high acceptance and repeatability.These therapies can be divided into gastric interventions and small-bowel interventions.Gastric interventions mainly focus on limiting intake to lose weight and improve metabolic indexes.Small-bowel interventions improve metabolic indexes by malabsorption,often not depending on weight loss.Therefore,the small-bowel will be a major focus for the growing field of metabolic endoscopy in the future.
