With rapid development of the new generation information technology and its wide applications,human society is coming into the new phase of digital world supported by metaverse.Software engineering education will also be influenced and promoted by metaverse.The theme of 2022 China-Europe International Symposium on Software Engineering Education,CEISEE 2022,is defined as“How the metaverse is shaping the future of education”.
