中国共产党第二十次全国代表大会对中国对外工作作出了全面部署。大会对中国面临的国际环境作出新判断,指出了这一环境面临的严峻挑战。与此同时,在战略和政策上,中国共产党则保持了高度的延续性。未来,中国需要按照大会的部署,坚持斗争精神,运用好系统观念、历史思维、战略思维,真正统筹好民族复兴的战略全局与百年未有之大变局这两个大局,处理其间的张力与矛盾,走好和平发展的中国式现代化道路。

The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC) made a comprehensive plan for China’s diplomacy, making a new statement on the international environment facing China and pointing out the serious challenges in this environment. At the same time, the CPC has maintained a high degree of continuity in its strategy and policies. In the future, China needs to adhere to the spirit of struggle, apply the systemic approach, historical thinking and strategic thinking in accordance with the plan of the Congress, implement the national rejuvenation strategy within the wider context of once-in-a-century changes taking place in the world, deal with the tensions and contradictions between them, and follow the Chinese path of modernization featuring peaceful development.
