Since the reform and opening up, China has made great achievements in development, and this phenomenon has become the focus of the world. China’s success has exceeded the explanatory power of current western theories, and needs to be analyzed from a new perspective. This paper analyzes the reasons for China’s success and its enlightenment to the world from many aspects, such as the market-oriented reform, the relationship between the central and local governments, the role of the government in the market, the national governance structure, the economic development model, the cooperation between government departments, and the role of the political party in administration.
