A Blueprint for“Exegetical Hermeneutics”

“训诂阐释学”是学科建构方向的新设计。其目的是,充分发挥训诂学与阐释学各自的优势,互为根基,互为支撑,互为动力,为阐释学的发展奠定可靠的中国基础,为训诂学的生长开辟广大的现实空间。训诂阐释学起点于训诂,通达于阐释,构建于学科,即以训诂为起点和方法,以真理性、可靠性、融贯性为准则,坚持由训而阐,由阐而训,反复循环、螺旋上升的正当路径,最终达致根基牢靠、创造新知的尚意之阐。训诂阐释学在学科方向上,提倡训诂为先、通达义理、体用兼备;在系统方法上,既注重训诂,也注重义理,同时更注重两种方法的相互融合与提升;在学科素养上,提倡训诂精神、公共自觉、范式意识。如此努力,训诂阐释学将以系统完备的新学科形态,位列人文领域,为文、史、哲等学科的交叉融合提供新示范。

“Exegetical hermeneutics”is a new direction of the development of academic discipline construction.Its aim is to fully tap into the advantages of both exegesis and hermeneutics by letting the two be the basis of each other,and support and motivate each other,which offers to lay a solid foundation for the development of hermeneutics and to open up a vast space for the growth of exegesis.“Exegetical hermeneutics”takes the practice of exegesis as its starting point,the interpretation as its destination and the academic discipline as its form.More specifically,“exegetical hermeneutics”takes the practice of exegesis as its beginning and methodology,and truth-seeking,reliability and comprehensiveness as its principle.It sticks to the appropriate path featuring going back and forth between exegesis and interpretation in loops which go upward in a spiral form,and will reach a meaning-oriented interpretation with a solid foundation and an ability to create new knowledge.In terms of discipline direction,“exegetical hermeneutics”advocates that the practice of exegesis comes first,and the aim of interpretation should be to reach Meaning&Principle through the combination of its essence and application.In terms of system and methodology,“exegetical hermeneutics”stresses both the practice of exegesis and Meaning&Principle.On top of this,it attaches utmost importance to the deep integration and improvement of the two methods.In terms of scientific literacy,“exegetical hermeneutics”promotes the orientation of exegesis,public self-awareness and paradigm consciousness.Through dedication to the aspects mentioned above,“exegetical hermeneutics”will find its place in the fields of humanities as a systematic,complete and new academic discipline,providing an innovative paradigm for the interaction and integration among various disciplines such as literary studies,history and philosophy.
