Augmented reality technology shifts the traditional archival compilation and publication from single, linear, closed modes to multi-dimensional, linked and interactive modes. This paper discusses the practical significance and application scenarios of AR technology in archival compilation and publication, and proposes the practical paths of AR application, with a view to providing reference for AR application in archival research, compilation and publication and facilitating the development of archival digitization.
