Ethical Study on the Application of Assisted Reproductive Technology to Alleviate the Problem of Infertility

运用文献分析法和推理法,探讨辅助生殖技术对于我国人口规模和结构的积极影响。近年来我国人口老龄化严重,且出生率接近死亡率,自然增长率接近零,单靠自然受孕不足以改变现状。如果适时放开辅助生殖技术,能给更多不孕不育家庭带来新的希望,促进我国人口规模和结构更加符合经济发展的需要。我国辅助生殖技术广泛应用需要加强立法、参考西方经验以及试点单身女性合法冻卵等措施。辅助生殖技术推广应用必将对我国人口规模和结构产生积极影响,促进我国经济社会和谐发展。

Using literature analysis and reasoning method, this paper explores the positive impact of assisted reproductive technology on the size and structure of population in China. In recent years, the population in China is aging seriously, and the birth rate is close to the death rate, and the natural growth rate is close to zero. Natural pregnancy alone is not enough to change the status quo. If our country timely liberalize assisted reproductive technologies, it can bring new hope to more infertile families and promote the size and structure of our population to be more in line with the needs of economic development. The widespread use of assisted reproductive technology in our country requires measures such as strengthening legislation, drawing on western experience and piloting a legal oocyte cryopreservation system for single women. The promotion and application of assisted reproductive technology will certainly have a positive impact on the size and structure of the population in China and promote the harmonious development of China’s economy and society.
