摘要 本研究基于扎根理论,分析了跨专业翻译硕士生所面临的困境及成因,并针对性提出解决对策。研究方法采用一对一开放式访谈,共有28名在读和已毕业的跨专业翻译硕士生及4名导师参与。研究发现,跨专业翻译硕士生主要面临相关专业能力不足、相关培训缺失、求职/工作受影响、个人发展迷茫、新领域适应不佳五种困境。由此得出,培养单位应当采用增设相关基础能力培训课程、提高垂直领域渗透度、完善行业导师机制、提供更多行业信息与机会等对策,帮助跨专业翻译硕士生摆脱困境,从而提升翻译硕士整体培养质量。 This study,based on grounded theory,aims to analyze the dilemma of interdisciplinary Master of Translation and Interpreting(MTI)students and its causes,and thus proposes solutions accordingly.The study collected data from open-ended one-on-one interviews with 28 current or graduated MTI students and 4 MTI supervisors.The results revealed that interdisciplinary MTI students are mainly confronting the dilemma of insufficient professional skills,inadequate training,challenges in job hunting or at work,career confusion,and poor adaptability to new areas.According to the model constructed in this study,some solutions are proposed for MTI degree program to help interdisciplinary MTI students overcome the dilemma,including providing basic training programs,enhancing vertical field penetration,developing industry mentoring mechanism,and providing more industry-related information and opportunities,thereby further improving the overall quality of MTI education.
