On the Integral Harmony of the Chinese Path to Modernization

“和”是中华优秀传统文化的精髓,是传统文化核心价值观念。从天之“和”到人之“和”,再到万国之“和”,中华传统文化“和”的思想博大精深,是构成中国式现代化的文化根基。中国式现代化之“和”不仅体现在“走和平发展道路”,而且体现在中国特色、本质要求的各个方面,体现在理论、实践的各个层面。中国式现代化从上到下、由表及里,时时处处呈现出总体和谐的特征,向世界昭示着中国式现代化的“和”之本色。

“He”, the Chinese Character which means harmony, is quintessence and core value of China’s fine traditional culture. Harmony of Chinese traditional culture, which is from universe to people, to countries, is extensive and profound. It forms the culture foundation of the Chinese path to modernization. Harmony implied in the Chinese path to modernization embodies not only in committing to the path of peaceful development, but also in every aspect from Chinese characteristics to essential requirement of the Chinese path to modernization, from theory to practice. The Chinese path to modernization has the characteristics of integral harmony always and everywhere, and is showing its character of harmony to the world.
