October is an important month in many ways for us here at CCS Chemistry.October 1 is National Day in China,which commemorates the establishment of the People’s Republic of China on October 1,1949.The first week in October is an extended holiday for most workers in China.Also,at the end of the month,October 25–31,is International Open Access Week,an event particularly relevant to CCS Chemistry,since we are a fully open access journal.
