This paper introduces a brief history of the evolution of Chinese rouge and classifies the rouge from a chemical perspective: inorganic rouge, organic rouge(natural plant rouge, organic synthetic rouge). Then carries out simulation experiment research with samples of rouge, in order to explore the production process of rouge and analyze the composition of the red material and the chromogenic mechanism of rouge. This article expounds the deficiency of each phase, popularizes the red chemistry knowledge in rouge, makes students understand the important significance of chemistry to beauty and health, and feel the infinite charm of chemistry.
