Culture has a powerful value-oriented function,which provides content and environment for ideal and belief education.Huxiang culture is an important cultural breeding ground for cultivating normal students ideals and beliefs.This paper analyzes the three dimensions of the integration of Huxiang culture into the ideal and belief education of normal students from the perspectives of responsibility consciousness,value sentiment and pioneering innovation.It holds that the family and country sentiment,valuing education to help the people and the spirit of daring to be pioneers of Huxiang culture provide spiritual power and intellectual sources for normal students to strengthen their ideal and belief,cultivate their education sentiments and foster their innovative consciousness.
