Li Qi’s Thoughts of Yi Learning and National Feelings

李杞是南宋以史证《易》的重要代表人物,但《四库》馆臣囿于门户之见,并未将其纳入史事宗,加上仕履未详,导致学界对其学术思想关注不足。实际上,李杞易学具有南宋易学的典型特征,且又有其独特风格。概言之:以象数为据,穷究其理;以史证《易》,经辩其理;引老庄之言,未离儒道。他曾提出“《易》为万世有用之学”,也由此借《易》之言,诠释了其政治主张,阐发了其家国情怀。

Li Qi was an important representative of the Southern Song Dynasty who proved the Yi Learning with history.However,because of his family’s opinions,the court officials in the Four Treasuries did not absorb him in the historical works and did not follow his work in details,the academic circle paid little attention to his academic thoughts.In fact,Li Qi’s Yi learning has the typical characteristics of the Southern Song Dynasty’s Yi learning,and also has its unique style.In summary:to explore the reason according to the number of images;to prove the Yi with history and vindicate the reason through classics;to quote the words of Laozi and Zhuangzi without departing from Confucianism and Taoism.He once put forward that Yi is a useful learning for all times,and thus interpreted his political views and his national feelings.
