俞樾灯谜作品集《隐书》初探

Preliminary Research on Yu Yue’s Collection of Lantern Riddles,Hidden Book

俞樾是晚清著名学者,乐于谜道,闲暇时以作谜自娱。他将自己所创作的百则灯谜编为一卷,取名《隐书》。通过研究《隐书》所收灯谜之数量、性质、类别及其别解,以及俞樾灯谜创作中的用典和艺术特色,可以看出《隐书》中的谜作经学气息浓郁,以谜底别解为主,并呈现平实质朴之风。

Yu Yue was a famous scholar in the late Qing Dynasty.He was fond of riddles and amused himself in his spare time.He compiled the hundred lantern riddles he created into a volume and named it Hidden Book.By studying the number,nature,category and different interpretations of lantern riddles in Hidden Book,as well as the use of allusions and artistic features in Yu Yue’s creation of lantern riddles,we can see that the riddles in Hidden Book have a strong flavor of confucian classics,mainly focusing on different interpretations of riddles,present a style of plain nature and simplicity.
