从千叟宴看传统敬老文化及现代启示

千叟宴作为清代康熙至乾隆年间朝廷邀请上千老者欢聚一堂的盛大宫廷宴会,世所罕见。千叟宴耗费庞大,规格甚高,这是它有别于其它筵宴的主要特点之一。康熙、乾隆二帝共举办过四次千叟宴。其蕴涵的尊老敬老思想流传千古,充分发扬了老吾老以及人之老的优秀传统美德。尊老敬长思想是传统儒家文化的核心内容之一,惟有善于尊老敬老并上升到国家治理层面,才能实现长治久安。目前,中国已进入老龄化社会。在我们源远流长、博大精深的传统文化中,重视人伦道德、讲究家庭和睦是我们文化传统中的精华。尊老、敬老、爱老,是先辈传承下来的宝贵精神财富。千叟宴宣扬的“老吾老以及人之老”“人之行,莫大于孝”的美德传统与孔子的孝道思想和今天的敬老思想一脉相通,仍有积极借鉴意义,有必要传承优良传统并发扬光大,为应对老龄化社会提供助力。

Dinner banquet,as a grand palace banquet during the reign of Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty,invited thousands of elderly people to gather together,which was rare in the world.Dinner banquet consumes huge,the specification is very high,this is one of the main characteristics that it is different from other feast.Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong held four thousand Sou feasts.Its implication of respect for the old thoughts spread through the ages,fully carry forward the old excellent traditional virtues of respecting the old.The thought of respecting the elderly is one of the core contents of the traditional Confucian culture.Only by being good at respecting the elderly and rising to the level of national governance can we achieve long-term peace and stability.At present,China has entered an aging society.In our long and profound traditional culture,the emphasis on ethics and family harmony is the essence of our cultural traditions.Respect and love for the elderly are precious spiritual wealth handed down by our ancestors.The virtues and traditions advocated by Dinner banquet,"Respect the elderly in your family as well as you respect the elderly of other families."and"people's behavior is greater than filial piety",are in the same vein with the filial piety thought of Confucius and today's thought of respecting the elderly,which still has positive reference significance.It is necessary to inherit and carry forward the fine tradition,to help cope with the aging society.
