Analysis of Zhang Yucai’s Commonly Used Drug Pairs in Jiaotong Therapy

“交通法”理论来源于中医古籍,是整体观念下对阴阳、藏象、经络学说的继承与发展,临床以交为基,以通为用,通过调和阴阳、宣通气血津液等方法,使机体达到“五脏元真通畅,人即安和”的交通状态。张玉才是安徽中医药大学教授,硕士生导师,中华中医药学会中医文化研究会常委,中华医学会医史分会理事。长期从事各家学说教学与临床研究工作,在疑难杂症的治疗上具有地域特色和重大突破。张教授临床常用药对如前胡与桔梗、木通与泽泻、龟版胶与鹿角胶等具有走引、通行、交通的功效,集中体现了交通法理论思想,在组方时加以配伍可提高疗效,对于疑难杂症的诊治具有一定的指导价值。

Originate from Chinese medical texts, the theory of “Jiaotong therapy” is the inheritance and development of the doctrine of Yin and Yang, viscerastate doctrine and meridian doctrine under a holistic concept. Which can achieve the state of “smooth flow of the viscera, and the person can be safe and sound” through the method of harmonizing yin and yang, promoting the flow of Qi, blood and fluids. ZHANG Yucai is a professor of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a supervisor of master’s degree, a member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Medical Culture Research Association of the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a director of the Medical History Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. He has long been engaged in teaching and clinical research of various schools of thought, and has regional characteristics and major breakthroughs in the treatment of difficult and miscellaneous diseases. Professor ZHANG’s clinical use of medicines such as Peucedani Radix and Platycodon Grandiflorum, Akebia Stem and Alisma Rhizoma, and Tortoise shell glue and Deer-horn glue, have the effect of leading, dredging and interaction, which concentrates on the theoretical idea of Jiaotong therapy. The combination of prescriptions which base on Jiaotong therapy can improve the therapeutic effect. Jiaotong therapy has a certain guiding value for the diagnosis and treatment of difficult and miscellaneous diseases.
