Socialism from a Humanist,Marxist Point of View——Review of Kevin B.Anderson’s Views on Socialism

凯文·B.安德森是当今美国颇具影响力的马克思研究者,他从批判分析资本主义入手来探讨社会主义。剥削、异化、种族主义和帝国主义、性别从属、国家的强化和集权、环境破坏是资本主义的核心特征。基于此,安德森提出了人本主义马克思主义的社会主义观,认为真正的社会主义对资本主义的超越应该体现在以上特征的消失,斯大林主义和民主社会主义都不足以应对如今的挑战。安德森的社会主义观富有洞察力,但不可否认,他对中国式社会主义道路的探索存有误解,同时其主张更多的是具有学术研究价值,而非实践指导意义。

As an influential Marxist scholar in the United States today,Kevin B.Anderson starts from the analysis of capitalism to discuss socialism.Exploitation,alienation,racism and imperialism,gender subordination,strengthening and centralization of the state,and environmental destruction are core features of capitalism.Based on this,Anderson proposed a humanist-Marxist view of socialism,arguing that the genuine socialism’s transcendence of capitalism should be reflected in the disappearance of the above characteristics,and neither Stalinism nor democratic socialism is sufficient to meet today’s challenges.Anderson’s views on socialism are insightful,but it is undeniable that he has misunderstood the exploration of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and his views are more of academic value rather than practical guidance.
