Basicervical fractures of the proximal femur is a special femoral neck fracture whose fracture line runs along the base of the femoral neck,commonly seen in elder people and young people with high-energy trauma.Epidemiological investigation shows that the incidence of this type of fracture is increasing year by year,and the high rate of failure after treatment indirectly leads to a higher mortality rate and disability rate,which seriously threatens the life and health of patients.This article shares the anatomic and biomechanical characteristics of Basicevical fractures of the proximal femur and summarizes the present diagnosis standards and treatments,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the key points of its diagnosis and treatment.
