High-quality Development of higher Education:Connotation and Approach

党的十八大以来,习近平总书记就高等教育改革发展作出一系列重要指示批示,为推进新时代高等教育高质量发展指明了方向。以习近平总书记关于高等教育改革发展的一系列重要指示批示为根本遵循,提出高等教育高质量发展涵盖了领导力量、发展理念、育人体系、兴教情怀、治理体系、均衡发展、评价制度等七个方面。对照高等教育高质量发展的基本内涵发现,我国高等教育高质量发展仍然存在着党的建设有待全面加强、教育对外开放有待加深、立德树人体系有待健全、报国使命担当有待增强、大学治理体系有待健全、发展统筹能力有待提升、评价制度体系有待完善等问题,因此,迫切需要提升高等教育高质量发展的引领力、服务力、竞争力、内生力、支撑力、统筹力和催化力,推进新时代高等教育高质量发展。

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has published a series of important expositions on the reform and development of higher education,which has pointed out the direction for promoting the high-quality development of higher education in the new era.Based on the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important exposition on the reform and development of higher education as the fundamental follow and the basis for theoretical analysis,it is found that the high-quality development of higher education covers leadership,development concepts,education systems,educational sentiments,governance systems,balanced development,and evaluation.The basic connotation of seven aspects of the system.Compared with the basic connotation of high-quality development of higher education,it is found that the high-quality development of higher education in my country still has the following aspects:Party building needs to be comprehensively strengthened,education opening to the outside world needs to be deepened,the system of building morality and people needs to be improved,the mission of serving the country needs to be strengthened,and the university governance system needs to be strengthened.It is urgent to improve the leading,service,competitiveness,endogenous,supporting,overall and catalytic power of high-quality development of higher education,and promote the high-quality development of higher education in the new era.
