As a female writer growing up in the May 4th Period, Lu Yin became the forerunner of female writing in the May 4th period. Lu Yin integrates her own experiences and emotions into her creation. Based on the relationship between the sexes, she discusses love and marriage, women’s body autonomy and other issues.
