党的二十大开辟了以中国式现代化全面推进中华民族伟大复兴的新征程,高等农林院校大有作为,要以立德树人为根本、以强农兴农为己任,产出更多科技成果,培养更多知农爱农新型人才。自《安吉共识》发布后,中国高等农林教育迎来深刻变革和质量革命的挑战,广大涉农高校积极开展新农科建设,取得了阶段性成果,但也在教育理念、培养体系、体制机制等方面存在深层次问题,必须深入推进高等农林教育改革,服务国家重大战略,探索中国特色高等农林教育发展道路,为世界高等农林教育发展贡献中国方案。中国高等农林教育校(院)长联席会第二十次会议暨中外农业教育论坛,围绕“新农科建设与农林教育转型发展”主题进行了深入交流。

The 20th CPC National Congress has started a new journey of fulfilling the great civilization of China with Chinese style modernization.The higher institutions of agriculture and forestry have much to accomplish on this big goal.They need to take educating personnel with high moral standard as the core,and strengthen and boost the agriculture as the goal in order to obtain more and more scientific and technological outcomes.Training and nurturing more talents who know and love agriculture will be urgent and essential.Since the release of Anji Consensus,a deep reforming and quality transformation need has challenged Chinese higher education of agriculture and forestry.Those universities involved have now actively advanced the emerging agricultural education and have made great achievements so far.However,there are still some deep-rooted problems which need to be solved systematically such as those concerning education philosophy,educational system,and the functional mechanism.They are supposed to enhance the reform in higher education of agriculture and forestry and serve the strategic needs of national key strategies.Only when they thoroughly explore the Chinese path of higher education of agriculture and forestry,then they could they set an example with Chinese characteristics for the world.At the 20th Session of the Joint Meeting for the Presidents in Chinese Higher Education Institutions of Agriculture and Forestry and Chinese-foreign Agricultural Educational Forum,discussions are thoroughly conducted on the very topic of how to better assist the shift and development of the emerging agricultural education and higher education in agriculture and forestry.
