Large dip coal mining areas contain rich resources. With the number of coal mines that can be mined in China’s near-horizontal and gently inclined coal seams becoming less and less, people gradually focus on the mining of large dip coal seams with huge reserves. The coal seam has complex geological conditions, great difficulty in actual mining, and high technical level requirements. It needs to comprehensively use the mining technology and methods of coal mine mechanization to promote the resource cost saving in the whole process of coal mining. On the basis of introducing the practical application background of coal mining technology with large dip angle in coal mines, this paper discusses the important practical role of mining technology with large dip angle in the process of coal mining, and probes into the improvement of management in combination with the basic needs of coal mining.
