New Development of Socialist Theory and Practice in DPRK during Kim Jong-un’s Ten-year Reign

朝鲜最高领导人金正恩执政十年间,朝鲜劳动党面对复杂多变的国内外形势,高举社会主义旗帜,积极进行社会主义道路的新探索,在社会主义理论和实践上取得了新的发展。理论方面,充实和完善党的建设相关思想,提出了对国际形势的新论断并形成新的时代观,明确了朝鲜式社会主义经济的性质,确立科学技术在社会主义建设中的地位;实践方面,朝鲜劳动党不断加强党的执政能力,带领和依靠人民克服自然灾害、新冠肺炎疫情等难关,在“人民群众第一主义”理念的引领下,把工作重心转移到经济建设和提高人民生活水平上来,同时加强意识形态领域的斗争,实现了经济社会发展和政治稳定。随着金正恩宣布进入“我国第一主义时代”,朝鲜的社会主义事业必将进一步发展,对什么是社会主义也将在实践中产生新的认识。

During Kim Jong-un’s ten-year reign,the Workers’Party of Korea(WPK)has held high the banner of socialism,actively explored the path of socialism and made new progress theoretically and practically.In theory,it enriches and improves the thoughts of the Party’s construction,puts forward new conclusions on the international situation and forms a new view of the times,clarifies the nature of the Korean socialist economy and establishes the position of science and technology in socialist construction.In practice,the WPK has continuously strengthened its governing capacity,led and relied on the people to overcome natural disasters,COVID-19 and other difficulties,and shifted its focus to economic construction and improvement of people’s living standards under the guidance of the concept of“Principle of the People First”.At the same time,it has strengthened ideological struggle,thus achieving economic and social development and political stability.With Kim Jong-un’s declaration of entering the“Era of Principle Our State First,”the socialist cause of the DPRK will surely be further developed and a new understanding of what socialism is will be gained in practice.
