南宋时期,朱熹施政漳、泉,考察闽南地区民风民俗,后以平民为实践对象写成《家礼》。朱子所著《家礼》一定程度上影响了闽南地区古代婚俗,使得闽南地区婚俗发生变化,如男女议婚年龄提前,媒人职能被削弱,纳采仪式简化等。发展到明清时期,由于闽南地区经济的发展与外来文化的影响,闽南婚俗再次发生变化,如婚姻费用增加,婚前行成人礼,简化亲迎形式等《,家礼》对闽南地区婚俗的影响一直延续到近现代。

Zhu Xi’s Family Rites had a great influence on wedding customs in southern Fujian.The wedding ceremony in the south of Fujian province is based on the Family Rites.During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the wedding customs in southern Fujian changed, such as the newly added custom of alliance, the rite of coming-of-age before marriage and the simplified form of accepting parents.Although the marriage customs changed a little, the influence of Family Rites on the marriage customs in southern Fujian continued to modern times.
