史料所载两种《〈五经正义〉表》探析

The Authorship of Wu Jing Zheng Yi Biao and Its Authenticity

史料所见《〈五经正义〉表》有两种:明郑真《荥阳外史集》所载该表署名孔颖达,从文风看,此表写作在前,是就修撰《正义》的目的和现实意义而言的,后来写作的各序文则详细介绍了《正义》修撰的经过和编修人员,前表与后序互为补充。《〈五经正义〉表》写于贞观十四年,在《五经正义》初撰完成之后,因马嘉运提出异议,才有后来的复审工作。另外一种《〈五经正义〉表》是指唐高宗永徽二年,诏令长孙无忌主持复审任务,永徽四年刊定工作完成,长孙无忌书表上奏。也就是说,《全唐文》等文献所载《进〈五经正义〉表》乃长孙无忌所作。两表之所以流传不广,不为大多数学者所知,应是限于《五经正义》的编撰体例,表文不像序文作为《五经正义》的一部分与正文一起颁布流传,而是长期淹没在其他典籍中,鲜为学者所知。

There are two kinds of Wu Jing Zheng Yi Biao found in historical materials.It is showed that the author of the first one contained in Zhengzhen’s Xingyang Waishiji of Ming Dynasty is Kong Yingda,and from the style of writing,it was written first,and about the purpose and practical significance of the revision of the Wu Jing Zheng Yi;and the prefaces written afterwards introduces in detail the process of the revision of the Wu Jing Zheng Yi and the compilers and revisers,and the former Biao and the latter prefaces complement each other.Wu Jing Zheng Yi Biao was written in the 14th year of the reign of the Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty.After the completion of the first edition of the Wu Jing Zheng Yi,and it was only after Ma Jiayun raised objections that the subsequent review was carried out.Another kind of Wu Jing Zheng Yi Biao refers to the one written by Zhangsun Wuji.In the second year of Yong Hui of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty,Zhangsun Wuji was ordered to preside over the task of reviewing,and the publication was completed in the fourth year of Yong Hui.After that,Zhangsun Wuji wrote a Biao for submission.In other words,the Jin Wu Jing Zheng Yi Biao contained in the Quan Tang Wen and other documents was written by Zhangsun Wuji.The reason why the two tables are not widely circulated and not known to most scholars is that they were not promulgated together with the main text as part of the preface,unlike the compilation of the Wu Jing Zheng Yi,but were submerged in other texts for a long time and little known to scholars.
