摘要
作文自动评改系统(AWES)已广泛应用于英语写作教学。本研究运用作文自动评改系统的在线互评功能,开展聚焦思想内容与篇章结构的大学英语写作同伴互评教学实验。基于英语写作测试和《大学生英语写作能力量表》测试的结果表明,依托作文自动评改系统的在线同伴互评能有效提高学生的英语写作成绩,提升学生的作文篇章结构能力、写作内容能力及总体写作能力。学生反思日志分析研究结果表明,在线同伴互评能激发学生的写作兴趣,培养读者意识,增强写作自信心、文本输出质量和写作能力,但存在评改反馈数量不均衡、信息不权威等问题。
Automated Writing Evaluation System(AWES) has been widely used in the teaching of college English writing. Applying AWES, this study conducted a teaching experiment of college English writing peer-reviewing with a focus on content development and structure organization of the composition. The results and analyses of English writing tests and Scale of College Students’ English Writing Abilitie show that AWES-based peer-review could effectively raise students’ test scores, improve their abilities of content development, structure organizing and overall writing. The analysis of students’ reflective writing journals indicates that online peer-reviewing could positively help to arouse their writing interest, develop audience awareness, increase composing confidence, improve output quality and, above all, writing competence, but there are still such problems as unbalanced peer-reviewing quantity and non-authoritative peer-reviewing information.
