The works of Jiang Kui,a Ci-writer in the Southern Song Dynasty,often reveal a sense of wandering with no destination.Specifically,the wandering consciousness is manifested in the loneliness without returning to the hometown,the melancholy of being despised and the helplessness of perishable years,which is closely related to the social and historical environment as well as the character of the writer.Through this kind of consciousness,Jiang Kui realized his adherence to the nation and the individual,which made his Ci poetry present unique ideological and artistic values.
