生态翻译学视域下中医经典中的“形”与“神”的翻译辨析——以《黄帝内经》为例

Translation of“Body”and“Spirit”in Classic Books of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Perspective of Eco-translatology:Taking The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic as an Example

文章以李照国的《黄帝内经》英译本和文树德与Hermann Tessenow协作完成的英译本作为研究蓝本,通过生态翻译学理论对《黄帝内经》中核心哲学理念“形”与“神”相关翻译进行剖析和解读。通过检索、整理、分析“形神合一”理论在《黄帝内经》英译本中的综合运用,发现李译本善用释意法,更好地保留译文的可读性与存真性;文译本则凸显以跨文化传播为导向的介译学观点为主。探讨在跨文化视域下异域译者对于同形字词的翻译处理方式,以期为中医哲学文化词汇的规范化翻译提供参考。

Taking the English version of The Yellow Emperor′s Inner Classic translated by LI Zhao-guo and the other version jointly completed by WEN Shu-de and Hermann Tessenow as the research model,this paper analyzed and interpreted the translation of the core philosophical concepts of“body”and“spirit”in The Yellow Emperor′s Inner Classic by eco-translatology.By searching,sorting,and analyzing the comprehensive application of the theory of“unity of body and spirit”in the English versions of The Yellow Emperor′s Inner Classic,it was found that LI′s version better retained the readability and authenticity by using the interpretation method,whereas WEN′s version focused on the viewpoint of translatology,which was oriented by intercultural communication.This paper discussed the translation methods of different translators for the same words from a cross-cultural perspective,hoping to provide references for the standardized translation of philosophical and cultural words of traditional Chinese medicine.
